Christmas: Classroom Fireplace!
We celebrate the holidays by singing traditional seasonal songs and by dressing up as Santa, Mrs. Claus, the elves, and reindeer and performing an original play! We've hung up our stockings for the real Santa Claus on our classroom chimney and we've decorated our tree with all kinds of ornaments!

Cinco de Mayo
We celebrate Cinco de Mayo by dressing up in the colors of Mexico (red, white and green) and dancing "La Raspa" and other typical dances. Ole!

Dr. Seuss Day
Have you ever seen so many cats? Have you ever seen so many hats? Some whiskers and a bow tie complete the look. Then go outside and read a book!

Literature Parade!
At the end of each year we make necklaces out of the books we have written, and celebrate with a "Literature Parade" around the school!

Mexican Independence Day
September 16 is Mexican Independence Day (not Cinco de Mayo!). We celebrate it with costumes, songs and dances.

More Holidays!
Join us as we celebrate throughout the year! We dress up as leprechauns for St. Patrick's Day and make Easter baskets out of plastic milk gallons. In Kindergarten, every day is a celebration!
