Celebrate!

Christmas

Christmas

The elves are sure busy making toys for all of the good boys and girls of the world! But there's always time for a song or two!

Christmas: Classroom Fireplace!

Christmas: Classroom Fireplace!

We celebrate the holidays by singing traditional seasonal songs and by dressing up as Santa, Mrs. Claus, the elves, and reindeer and performing an original play! We've hung up our stockings for the real Santa Claus on our classroom chimney and we've decorated our tree with all kinds of ornaments!

Christmas: Santa's Workshop

The elves help Santa make his toys in our holiday play.

Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo

We celebrate Cinco de Mayo by dressing up in the colors of Mexico (red, white and green) and dancing "La Raspa" and other typical dances. Ole!

Dr. Seuss Day

Dr. Seuss Day

Have you ever seen so many cats? Have you ever seen so many hats? Some whiskers and a bow tie complete the look. Then go outside and read a book!

Literature Parade!

Literature Parade!

At the end of each year we make necklaces out of the books we have written, and celebrate with a "Literature Parade" around the school!

Mexican Independence Day

Mexican Independence Day

September 16 is Mexican Independence Day (not Cinco de Mayo!). We celebrate it with costumes, songs and dances.

More Holidays!

More Holidays!

Join us as we celebrate throughout the year! We dress up as leprechauns for St. Patrick's Day and make Easter baskets out of plastic milk gallons. In Kindergarten, every day is a celebration!

Here we are ready for the beginning of Spring with our bright yellow birdie costumes which we wear while we perform our Spring dances for our families.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving

The Pilgrims cross the Atlantic to meet the Native Americans in America. Who wants turkey?

Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving!

We re-enact the crossing of the Atlantic in the Mayflower and celebrate our new friendships with a feast! We make turkey sandwiches and eat pumpkin pie!

Thanksgiving: We Give Thanks.
