Showtime!

Circus Unit: Showtime!

Watch as the lions and tigers jump through the hoop of fire! See the amazing juggling clowns!

Circus Unit: The Bigtop!

We've been studying colors, shapes, numbers and letters the first month of Kindergarten and now we are ready to put it all together in a show. Ladies and Gentlemen, and children of all ages, come see the amazing lion tamer, the funny clowns and daring acrobats!

Circus Unit: Walking the Tightrope!

More circus fun!

Farm Unit: Barnyard Fun!

The Little Red Hen, Chicken Little, the Three Little Pigs and the Ugly Duckling are just a few of the characters you'll see during our Farm Animal presentation. Don't get too comfortable in your chair: you'll soon be joining us for the Chicken Dance!

Farm Unit: Chickens!

We made our chicken costumes for our "Chicken Dance" during one of our Farm Animal Paint Days. After the show, we get to wear them home!

Farm Unit: Dancing with Mom & Dad

At the end of the show we do the "Chicken Dance" one more time. We go into the audience and grab Mom and Dad!

Farm Unit: Plays

Watch as we act out the “Three Little Pigs,” “The Ugly Duckling,” “Chicken Little,” “The Boy Who Cried Wolf,” and more!

Farm Unit: Show

That ugly duckling turned out to be a beautiful swan after all!

Farm Unit: The Chicken Dance!

After our Farm Show, parents join us as we do the Chicken Dance!

Food Unit!

Look at all of that yummy food! Soon it will all be eaten up by The Very Hungry Caterpillar (by Eric Carle) in our adaptation of that famous book. Mr. Kohn normally makes his own costumes, but these were on sale after Halloween! (He did have to make all of the Fruit and Vegetable costumes: he could only find junk food costumes in the stores!)

Food Unit: The Giant Carrot

With the help of everyone, the farmer is finally able to pull the giant carrot out of the ground!

Food Unit: The Very Hungry Caterpillar

After eating all of this junk food you can see why the Very Hungry Caterpillar had such a big tummyache!

Food Unit: The Very Hungry Caterpillar

This food is much better! This is what we should eat to make us grow big and strong just like the Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Fruit & Vegetable Show

We act out the “Giant Carrot,” “The Very Hungry Caterpiller,” and more....

Insect Show!

We dress up as insects and act out our favorite stories and sing about bugs! Here the caterpillar is about to transform into a beautiful butterfly! Afterwards we'll sing about the Eentsy-Weentsy Spider (although we know he really isn't an insect!), The Little Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly, I'm Bringing Home a Baby Bumblebee, and La Cucaracha!

Transportation Unit

Take a train, drive a car, sail in a boat, ride a horse...find some way to get here to see our Transportation Show! Watch as we show how "The Little Engine That Could" brings us goods to our town. See how the "Gingerbread Boy" uses transportation vehicles to help him escape from all of the people who want to eat him! (However, once he gets to the river he can't find a boat to help him across. But a "friendly" crocodile offers to help...)

Wild Animals in the Classroom

We act out plays such as Little Red Riding Hood, The Lion and the Mouse, the Tortoise and the Hare, and many other famous stories and fables.
